Damn, its been like a month since I've updated LJ. And, sadly, I'll come out and say that this will be my last LJ entry. Its been cool having one, but I dont want to become one of those people who update once every 6 months and expect people to still notice. I still have a Myspace and a Facebook, and you're always welcome to IM me at GiantsGuy128. I think I'll still leave the occasional smart-ass comment in other people's journals, though. So be on the lookout!
So long, LJ!

Well through being tired and having consistency problems, i've worked my way down to being the #2 punter. I still dress for all the games and everything, so I'm where I should be. I'll get my kicks this year, and i've had a great last couple of days at least.
We play Becker tomorrow, and we're anticipating a win.
I still havent found a way to steal music.
I'm still very much going out with Holly.
I'm not much into long LJ updates, so away i go!

Now that I have most of the names of the Utica guys memorized, it's a lot easier to get through the day. No more "hey chief" or "whats up boss" or whatever.
I broke my cell phone accidentally and get a new one. same number and everything. No real story to tell. I lost all my contacts, though, and that really sucks.
And that's all for now!

I'm at Utica College. We've had two practices and I already feel sore and all that junk. At least I'm not in horrible shape, there are guys who are BADLY out of shape, and the funny thing is that they all look way better than I do physically. As if you couldnt tell anyway, I've never been on steroids and I will never be convinced to do so. I happen to enjoy the size of my testicles, thank you very much.
Holly and I are keeping it together pretty well.
I've met a handful of guys who I get along with pretty well, but there's nobody that I have much of a reason to dislike.
And that's all for now!

| | Under The Sea- Disney | ] | I can tell just how popular my LJ is by the INANE amount of comments I've been getting! Like, Jill Urtz left me a comment on July 19th, and that's pretty much it. Maybe I'll be a Myspace whore and beg for comments.
Aug 13th is my move-in day at Utica. Woot for me.
I just played "Under The Sea" to Holly over the phone and she MAY have lost all the respect she had left for me. Or gained like 349754% more. I'll have to ask some time.
Anyways, I'm working at Turning Stone now as a steward. I wash dishes and hold back vomit as I deal with the grossest things imaginable!
WOOOO!

Sooooo the fireworks were last night. I saw a ton of people that I havent seen in a while, but in a way last night was a way of saying goodbye to many of them. I won't even try to list all the people I saw, but luckily I've kept in touch with a handful, so it wasn't soul-crushingly depressing or anything. Holly couldn't make it because she got caught distributing poisoned milk to school children. THAT'S MY HOLLY! L-O-L!

Hey hey.
Fireworks and Jake's grad party tomorrow. That should pretty much wrap up my VVS social life, but I guess I can live with that. I went on a shopping trip all over today with Holly and Stacy. I bought a few things, it was a good time overall.
So i guess i'll update again within the next 25 days, so be on the lookout.

I easily got my license today. Well, that was a nice surprise. No lifting tonight, we might be going to Sherrill to hang out with Noah if he gets back in time. Pretty nice pair of days overall. I'll probably be hanging out with Elise and Holly tomorrow so i can SO add another winning day to the last two.

I got a cell phone today. I worked out all the "behind the scenes" payments and got off pretty well, my phone was like $20. I guess I can expect a $85 phone bill for the 1st one, and about a $45 bill every month after. Thats not too bad.
Road test tomorrow. I WILL FINALLY BE LICENSED TO DRIVE. Thats right, 21 months after most kids get their license, it's time for me to take that big step forward. Now only I i'd done that earlier in VVS, the shallower girls may have talked to me more.

Well, I had my Orientation at UC. It was a great time, I met some cool people, talked with Coach Kemp, stayed around over night, and generally got more comfy with the college. I think I'll come in position to make an impact at Punter, but I dont know if i'll be in college-athlete shape. We'll see.
I'm seeing Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with Holly and some other people. She's looking forward it an insane amount and it seems pretty damn cool anyways, so I'm looking forward to it too.
I went over to Pat's today. Pretty cool time, I got the D-1A Rosters for Ncaa '06 which i now own. The music in that game kicks ass. I'm probably the only one who thinks so, but meh.

Here's my Bi-weekly Livejournal Update!
After graduation, we hit the grad party circuit. We went to like 9 in three days. It's crazy, man. I never had a bad time.
Holly and I are doing just dandy.
I've been getting in alright shape lifting-wise. We've taken a bit of time off of running, but we'll get back to doing that. I dont think I've lost a lot of ground at kicking, and i'll be getting new cleats soon anyway, so meow.
I've done an ok-ish job of keeping in touch with people right off the bat, but at the same time i can list a hundred people that i'll never see/talk to again. Thats certainly not a good thing, but it's something I've been expecting and rationalizing for a long time.

The Senior Dinner Dance was way awesome. I had more fun than I expected, and Holly did too. It was cool to have one last goodbye-type bash.
We got the Pete and Pete DVD yesterday! It'll double the value of our house and generally make my life worth living. 12 episodes too. Damn.
College starts on August 13th. Thats less than 6 months away! |

Well, today was the last day of regular classes at VVS. I've been taking it really well I think, mostly because I've had it in perspective for so long, and I plan on keeping in touch with a good group of people, so I think it'll be alright. Then again, maybe it just hasnt sunk in yet.
We werent able to lift this week because they closed down the weight room early. THOSE BASTARDS. We'll lift with the team (VVS) in the offseason, and I think we'll be more than alright.
I got some Bosstones stuff off of ebay. 737 still lives and gives

| | Zombie Nation! | ] | Hey team.
I've been killing the ball down at the field lately, so I have no doubt that i could kick for Utica tomorrow if i needed. Now i just need to focus on getting in shape and shedding some unneeded weight.
I saw Holly this week a couple times. Things are really cool right now.
The Shield is, I think, the best show on television. They might push the envelope a bit too far, but what can you do, thats something you kind of need to do. Plus, Vic looks like Quick, and that adds some humor to it. Pretend Mr Kio is Dutch, and BAM, you've got a remake.

Tom Macrina must've won $2,000 in award money tonight. Going to Penn is expensive, but come on. I won a cool $125 which was nice, but $125 in college can buy you one textbook or MAYBE two, or it can buy me a pair of cleats and NCAA Football 2006 for the Playstation 2. Guess which one I'm doing.
Maybe they'll be giving out some more rockin scholarships, which means another $15 in the bank! CAN YOU SAY 3 NOTEBOOKS FOR BEN? WOOO!

Its my obligated by-weekly update!
Mike's still not penned to go to Utica like me, officially he is still down to 2 between Utica and Alfred, and once he gets back his aid package we can finalize it. He almost certainly is going to UC with me. I'll probably end up changing my SN once I get into college, but i have no idea what it'll be.
I saw Holly yesterday. We went over to OHS where they had this car crash scene. Why doesnt VVS ever do cool shit like that? Graduation is a little over a month away.
I just got my Dave Brown jersey off of ebay, easily making me the best and coolest person in VVS. --Ben |

I officially committed to Utica College today. Everything about it is just too good to pass up. The location couldn't be better, the degree will land me employment in the future, a handful of great people that i know are going (Joe,Jen,Zaunkley, Nate,John and some others maybe) and I love the direction of the football team. They're rebuilding, yeah, but Utica has a great coaching staff with good facilities, I couldn't be more excited about suiting up for Utica.

Nothing new to report college-wise. Mike took a while to apply to Utica and Alfred, so we're waiting for his aid to come back from there. We have a few more days until we have to decide anyway. I'm going out with Holly again which is pretty awesome. I figure that most people knew that by now, but its been a little over a week and I figured I'd put it out there.
The NFL Draft was on over the weekend. talk about entertainment. MAN. The Giants did alright, picking a D-end, a Corner, and a Halfback. Not bad overall.

Holly came over on Sunday with Stacy and we watched a few episodes of Family Guy. I'm seeing a lot more of Holly lately and I let Stacy borrow my PS2 copy of Half-Life. Elise is having another campfire on Wednesday. I'm looking forward to it, it was a lot of fun last time.
I should have my college decision made by Thursday.
